Mortgages
Many banks in Cyprus offer competitive rates on mortgages and you can borrow up to 70% of the lower valuation and purchase price for a term of 5 to 15 years. As with any lenders it will be dependent on individual financial circumstances.

The minimum loan at present is usually CY£25000 and rates of interest stand at 2% above UK base rates. All rates are subject to variation.

An alternative option is a payment scheme directly with the property developer. Many Cyprus property developers now offer this option, generally in 3 stage payments. One third acts as a deposit at the beginning of the contract, another third at the possession stage and the final payment in monthly stages or if suitable, on completion of the property.
